What it does

Aziz 2016 Rome IV reflux hypersensitivity. rome_iv_reflux_hypersensitivity is true iff retrosternal heartburn or chest pain, normal endoscopy without EoE, no motor disorder, reflux-triggered despite normal acid, 3- and 6-month timing. Caller assigns six flags. magent does not read pH-impedance or endoscopy. Antisecretory response does not exclude the diagnosis and is not a required flag. Not a diagnosis, not functional heartburn, not GERD/NERD as the primary tool, not globus.
