What it does
Cryoprecipitate bag estimate from the AABB Technical Manual calculation as reprinted in Nascimento 2011: 70 mL/kg blood volume, 250 mg fibrinogen per bag, bags = ceil(mg_fibrinogen / 250). Deterministic published arithmetic with citation. Not a transfusion order or major-haemorrhage protocol. The paper notes 100% recovery is likely false and fibrinogen per bag varies. magent does not choose a product or ABO group.
