What it does

Verify a Canadian registered charity against the Canada Revenue Agency List of Charities. Look up by business number (BN, e.g. '119219814RR0001' or the 9-digit root) or by charity name (English or French). Returns legal name, BN, registered status verdict, designation (Charitable Organization / Public Foundation / Private Foundation), charity category, and mailing city/province. Data: CRA List of Charities open data (T3010), Open Government Licence - Canada.
